I am an author, a freelance writer, a world traveler, and a full time mom.

I received my B.A. in Anthropology from Grinnell College and promptly ran away from home to see the universe, spending years in Nicaragua, China, Mexico, and England. I am a member of the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers association and am the perfect amount of obsessed with attending writers conferences.

Echo

Book One of the Soulless

Completed July 2018

On a planet of blue sand and coral sky, Echo will do anything to become a champion manta racer. Anything. And that includes breaking the law. But in a crater city where the elite live off the labor of the soulless, creatures working the mines, rules are strict. Breaking the law means swift and immediate death.

When the arrival of the smooth-talking Ambassador from off-planet changes the very fabric of society, Echo is forced into a desperate escape out of the city. She joins forces with a sharp-tongued stranger, who introduces her to the rebellion, a group aiming to free the soulless and overthrow the rule of law. And as they travel the planet's wasteland desert, they find more than one surprise hiding among the dunes. Soon, war between the city and the rebellion ignites, and Echo must choose between trying to go back and follow her dream, or throwing it all away to change the world.
